British National Foal of The Year Show

23rd November, we made the long trek up to Solihull, to the BNFOY, with H Hanky Panky ( Chuckles) he was 2nd in the Coloured colts, and 1st in the Amateur Home Produced class.

CHAPS champs

Barney Had an eventful CHAPS champs, for all the wrong reasons. He got poorly very quickly on the friday morning, and had emergency colic surgery. He is still up in Lincolnshire, where he is receiveing fabulous care at Oakham Vets. We hope he will be able to come home the middle of next week.
On a more positive note, Hopgarden Hidalgo won his 3 year old final, and the Pessel Hestia open final.We are thrilled with his progress. His Daughter, out of Hollys Blue Mink is going to join him at Reylem Stud.

Update: Barney came home after 10 days at Oakham, and doing really well, if a little frustrated at being box rested!

CHAPS SE

Oliver and Barney had a lovely day at CHAPS South east, winning the Bonny pony and veteran, and a 2nd in the child handler.

Hopgarden Hidalgo @ Royal Northern

Hopgarden Hidalgo had a sucessful day at the Royal Northern Show on the Saturday. He won his coloured class, went section Champion,then In hand Champion.

He returned on the sunday,to again win his coloured class, and the sports pony class.

Ponies moving house!

Southwark Roulette and Southill Farm Applause, have both moved onto their new homes. Roulette to Liverpool, and Applause has gone to Highclere Stud, initially as a teaser for Dr Fong, then to cover some of the pony mares.
