Monday 14th December, was a particularly sad day, as dearest Cybil ( Harvens Ciboulette) was PTS.

She was a comical pony, and a wonderful dam, having had 5 children,namely-

H Renaissance, who i have been fortunate enough to buy back.(pictured as foal)

We are delighted for Reylem stud, that their Harroway Mr Harlequin son, Hopgarden Hidalgo has passed his BSPA Stallion Grading.

We believe this to be the first graded son of Harlequin.

November will see the arrival of the filly foal,  Jessica Rabbit. She is a Bay Tobiano Riding pony filly, to make 13.2hh.

CHAPS, at Arena uk was a lovely 4 days away, apart for the weather! Strong winds and temporary stables did not make for a happy Daisy, who went unplaced, but commented on as an exceptional mover.

Barney was 3rd in his veteran final, being almost Double the age of his fellow equines, but he is certainly still active enough, as his lap of honour with the riddens proved!!!!

He is now back home in Kent, where 2010 will see him cover a selected few mares.

HollyLand Larkrise had a sucessful first show, after owning her for less than 3 weeks. She was thrown in to a CHAPS youngstock Qualifier, which she won then Went Champion at Holt Farm, The was then 3rd in a strong open class- Barney was 6th out of the 12 forward.

I was delighted to receive a picture of 2 year old Twinkle( H. Mr Tarquin ex Harvens Ciboulette) at her first show, a big agricultural one with lots to put eyes on stalks for. Hopefully next time she will cope bettter with a show environment!

Update; Twinkle is Staying away at Ponies uk, and came 3rd in the Part Bred Class.

After a very last minute decision to take Copybush Chit Chat, and her son Hopgarden Small Talk, they gained a respectable 3rd in the Riding Pony Broodmare, and 2nd in the Foal Class, At Kent County Show.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the Exquisite Yearling filly, Hollyland Larkrise, who joined us this weekend. She has Fabulous limbs, Powerful movement, and as a first time traveller,not complaining and loading and travelling really well, proved her temperament to be even kinder than one could have imagined.

The 650 mile round trip was certainly worth every mile, and to be shown round Hollyland's stock, a privelege, by Wendy and Genti, whom were very kind, and made us feel very welcome.

Larkrise is out of Kazmars Turn back time ( Jackets Indigo Blue ex Jackets Classic Times), by Hollyland Cranberry ( Copybush Charlie Whisker ex Solva Cocktail).

H.Hanky Panky has had another superb outing,with Charlotte Reynolds of Reylem Stud,collecting 2x 1sts, 2 reserves, and Supreme in hand champion of Show,

 at CHAPS Welsh Regional show.

After setting up the system  to watch Erica and record the birth, Erica gave birth 6th June at approx 7pm in the field!

She has had a bay colt, to be called  Mr Jim,(H Small Talk) in Memory of a friend who died quite recently.

Chuckles had a wonderful day in the big classes at Warrington horse Show on bank holiday monday.

He won both his CHAPS youngstock, and CHAPS open classes, then in the overall Championship ( ridden and in hand ) he took the Tricolour.

Flo had her first ridden show in 4.5 years, her last being HOYS 2004.We went to South Of England Spring, where she was pulled and stayed 2nd, behind a cob of Lynn Russell's.therefore qualifying for the Royal International Horse Show.

2009 Started with some rather horrible news, a biopsy revealed Flo had a Slow Growing Cancer. Thankfully, when she went in for her 'lady operation', it was thought it had not spread, and she is now back in full work, and will be out at a few shows in 2009!
